Purchased this Archos 101 G9 tablet overnight from Amazon, requested overnight shipment. It shipped out from a company on the east coast, received it the next day. Excellent service.
Now about the Archos 101 G9 tablet, I ordered 2 different accessories (leather case, and screen protectors) that were recommended by Amazon. Received the accessories after I received the Archos 101 G9 tablet of course because i ordered the tablet overnight. Neither one of the accessories fit the tablet. The case was too thin, and the camera hole was in the wrong place. The screen protectors came in, and were also too small. Dissappointed about that, and am in the process of returning, which is a hassle.
Now the Archos 101 G9 tablet is nice.
It is a bit plasticy, and the wi-fi reception is a bit weak compared to a laptop, but other than that, the display is nice, it feels nice, the Android ice cream update works nice. It has a full size USB slot hidden where you would plug a network 3g card, so its easy to transfer files. Occasionally I have to do a reboot, it will stop responding when i’ve used it too long, and have multiple screens open, but its not a big deal. The large 10″ display is nice, i’m glad i bought the 10″ rather than the 8″. The large hard drive can’t be beat, I believe its far better than the 16gb models with an extra micro SD card slot, or the ones that don’t (Ipad). Can’t beat the price either. Overall very nice product. Just maybe improve the case down the road.
